Student Profile: Troy Curtis
David Oladejo is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student.
“To be completely honest, Carleton is what helped me grow my love for photography. From composite photos and head shots for students, to formals and semi formals, people seemed to spread my name around and I kept getting more people asking for photos. As a result, it’s given me a chance to meet so many cool people on and off campus and improve the quality of my pictures. And, from the frequent and sometimes lengthy (although Ollie’s really isn’t that far) trips to River Building to take pictures, I’ve got the chance to really appreciate the beauty of our campus.
Photography and photo editing are some of my strongest areas of artistic expression and the ones I’m the most passionate for. Many of my photos have been shared by Instagram accounts like Explore Canada and Ottawa Tourism on Instagram, receiving thousands of likes and hundreds of supportive comments. My love (my mom calls it obsession) for Ottawa goes hand in hand with my love for photography, which anyone would be able to see by my daily posts of Ottawa scenery.”
